The Land of Goshen

The Land of Goshen
As we go into a new month, the Lord is taking us to our land of Goshen — a land of exemption, protection, and abundance.
Reading: Exodus 8:22-23
"In that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there... And I will make a difference between My people and your people." — Exodus 8:22-23
Pharaoh refused again and again to let God's people go, so the Lord sent plagues upon Egypt. But Goshen — the land where His people dwelt — was set apart. Goshen is a land of separation, a land of exception, a land of covenantal protection, a land of divine favor, and a land of supernatural provision. Everything is included in Goshen.
Five Marks of the Goshen Experience
- Divine exemption in troubled times
- Supernatural preservation
- Covenantal protection
- Divine provision
- Uncommon favor
Protection is not the absence of danger — it is the presence of God in danger. Whatever may be going on around us, we are exempted and separated from it. As we march into this new month, that is our theme of prayer: a Goshen experience and a Goshen advantage.
